A little bit about myself….
I am fortunate in that my professional and personal lives have always fused together and led me to fortuitous discoveries of my art and myself. It’s because of this, I consider myself to be a jack-of-all-trades. Growing up in the Midwest I was able to use Chicago as a home base and travel in every direction. From spending summers in northern Wisconsin, Canada, and Minnesota, to traveling and photographing close to all 50 states, to now residing in Portland, Maine. I enjoy taking excursions, getting lost and taking photographs along the way. I have learned that nature, family, and friends are what drive and inspire me.
My professional career started close to 15 years ago, and I have had the great fortune to work with some amazing photographers, companies and clients. These experiences have opened doors for me to shoot commercial, portraiture, weddings, and fine art photography. It’s within these creative and thought-provoking cultures that I have come to nurture my own creative process and grow in my photography and editing.
In my personal and professional life, I enjoy pushing the boundaries of conventionalism and stereotypes. I excel in my diversity in getting along with artists and clients of all genres, backgrounds, and walks of life to work collaboratively within an eclectic environment. I enjoy every moment of my craft, and I hope to continue creating images that reflect my personality, love, and drive for this art for the rest of my life.
